I completed a speed Basic Facts Box again.
I got all my answers correct even the hard ones.
This basic facts boxes were a little bit more easier then the last one I completed.
I am a Year 4 student at Panmure Bridge School, Auckland, New Zealand. My teachers are Mr Wong and Mr Ogilvie.

This basic facts boxes were a little bit more easier then the last one I completed.
Teamwork is a term to describe a group of people working together to achieve a goal.
Teamwork consits of the three main mechanisms.
Communication is were you tell your team what your going to do and how your going to do it.
Cooperation is were is were you tell your team how your going to get out the other team.
Collaboration is were you share your ideas with your team.
To be succsessful as a team, all three mechanisms need to implememted throughout the activity.
Making connections is looking at a text and looking at similarites.
Text to self is were you write what happend to you that is similer to what happens in the story. For example: the duck shared food with the villagers and people share food with others.
Text to text is something in the book that is simaler to another story. For example: the duck was trying to escape from the highway rat so she does't get eaten, little red riding hood went to her grandmas house and then gets eaten.
Text to world is something in the book that happend in the real world. For example: the duck gives water to the horse. In the world giving drinks to homelsess people who cant afford anything that need help.
These three connections help understand more about the text.
Marc is a Duffy role model and a reader who can change lives just like his own.
Marc learnt to read in prison and then came out with a School Certificate and a Diploma in a buisness, Marc was a New Zealand boxing lightweight champ until he had a daughter.
Marc owned his own business, he also worked for Bunnings Warehouse fitting out their stores.
Now he manages the largest store in New Zealand which is in Hamilton.
Also Marc went back to university to become a counseller.
Marc shares his story to schools to help those kids who can't read.
Today LS1 drew something called called Fact or Opinion.
First we chose a character from a book called The Highway rat,Horse,Duck but not the highway rat.
After we wrote our character in the title, I chose the duck because it's one of my favourite character in the story.
After I wrote some facts from the story and put it in.
Then I wrote some opinions that were going to happen, Finally I wrote some adjectives for those scenes.
Next time I want to write some adjectives then verbs.
Information can be public or private.
Public information is showing other people things that is harmless, and private information is mostly things you want to keep to yourself and is sometimes harmful for people.
An example is keeping your account details private, and public is pictures of landscsapes and the night sky.
LI: to differentiate between public and private information.
A character trait desribes how the chatracter acts or behaves.
The character trait is something that you mostly just write some adjectives and write them in a sentence and how that adjective that fits with that sentence.
The highway rat is not very nice because he dosn't share and because he steals from others insted of getting his own food.
The highway rat is selfish and dosn't care about anyone else.
He is mostly just trying to get some food because he is hungry but he dosn't know that he is being mean and is also being mean to his horse for stealing his hay.
The character traits are helpful in our learing because it helps us build better understandings in our work.
This week I made 3 multiplication slides.
First we split out some counters from a cup.
Next we put them in a tiny group of small numbers.
After we took a screenshot of the small groups.
After we added labels for all the group numbers.
Then we made the groups into a shape of a rectangle and then we took a screenshot of the rectangle to put on our slide.
Finally we wrote down some words for our slides. Next time I want to have more 5 groups of numbers.
